Originally shot on 35mm film, Amanda Bradley’s Home as I remember it (2015) and Another view from “home” (2018) both explore views from home: from the artist’s childhood home in Miami and other, a view from her father’s home. Both looking out, from inside to outside, these two images create a side by side perspective of the artist’s views and perspective of “home”. The images are part of a body of work that explores belonging and identity through place, finding connections though viewpoints, perspectives and visual markers found in both the intimate space of the home and the greater landscapes with which Bradley identifies.
